MUSTANG OA VENTURE  CREW 16

American Legion Hall, Post 320
10 12th Avenue South
Hopkins, MN

"Many OA activities in Mustang District are funneled through Venturing Crew 16, sponsored by the American Legion Post in Hopkins.  This allows Mustang OA to pay local OA expenses (for new regalia and local Great Fire in the West) without needing to submit bills to our busy District Executive and the Lodge Treasurer.  Major expenses, e.g. Conclaves, will still go through the DE and Treasurer, however.

This past year (September '13 through April) Mustang OA planned and held a Conclave at Camp Stearns, has held monthly meetings (usually at the Roundtable), conducted 17 Arrow of Light ceremonies and several Troop OA elections.  A couple of ideas for District-wide service projects are being considered.

Whether part of the Crew 16 or not, all Mustang OA members are encouraged to get involved in Chapter events.  Let's make this Chapter one of the best in the Council.

Adviser

OA Announcements

Not current on your dues?

Surprisingly, there are over 700 scouts and adults who were registered OA members in 2014 who have not paid their 2015 dues (which covers the OA year from September 2014 to August 2015).  If this applies to you, would you please take five minutes to pay your dues now on-line?  OA dues cover most of the expense of Lodge and chapter OA activities, including promotion of camping and community service projects.
To pay on-line, you may use the link on this Mustang OA page that takes you to Totanhan Nakaha Lodge, then scroll down to the "Pay Dues" button.  You'll need a credit card for eCheck to complete the transaction.
Thanks for your attention to this need.
Click here for a copy of the Dues Form.

This form may be mailed directly to the Council office.  As a dues paying member, you are welcome to wear the lodge flap and partivipate in OA activities thoughout the year.

Please support your OA Chapter by electing a Troop Rep
that will attend every Chapter Meeting.

The Mustang Chapter of OA currently meets during the District Roundtable.  All meetings currently occur on the 1st Thursday of the month- at Christ Presbyterian church, 70th and Hwy 100.

All Mustang District troops are urged to have their OA youth representative attend the Roundtable OA session each month.  Only about half of the troops are regularly sending their representatives.  The OA can accomplish much more service with more youth participants.
