Pack Leaders: looking for some guidance with making Pinewood Derby cars? Contact Bob Spencerof Jerry’s Maple Grove Hardware (stores in St.Louis Park and Edina). Over thirty years ago, Mr. Spencer started helping young men (including his own sons) build Pinewood Derby cars, and for the past 10+ years, he has held classes for Scouts building Pinewood Derby cars. He DOES NOT provide hands on assistance, but provide guidance, equipment needed to fine tune their cars and necessary tools that some parents don’t have or can’t afford. He would like to continue his tradition in the Edina and St. Louis Park Stores as well. Please contact Bob if you would like to set up time for your Pack:

2012 KLONDIKE DERBY – THE AMAZING RACE on 2/25/2012:
This year’s Mustang District Klondike Derby has a bit of TV flavor and appeal – we will be competing in the AMAZING RACE using the frozen (hopefully) tundra of Bryant Lake in Eden Prairie/Edina. The Amazing Race event will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. If your Troop is interested in seeing strange and exotic ports around the World, please contact Tom Pahl at tpahl@foleymansfield.com or Peter Mitchell at petermitchell613@AOL.COM for registration and more information or questions.
